New Inn

Roadside inn since the 1620's on the A38, close to the historic medieval town of Axbridge. Popular for its extensive food menu served all day until 9pm (8pm Sun) and its Easter beer festival it usually has four guest beers that can often be adventurous and rare for the area. A large hillside garden with children's play facilities offers a fine view of the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels. Families are welcome - dogs too. There is a small car park opposite.
