Reopend in May 2018 as a freehouse this large roadside Inn on the A38 has been opened out and smartened up. The large main area is set up as a restaurant with a separate bar at the rear for drinkers, where you are welcome to dine with your dog. Indeed murals and signage outside makes it abundantly clear that this place is dog friendly, with dog cushions even provided. Families are also welcome and the excellent quality food is served all day at fair prices. There is a large car park and extensive beer garden too. A good place to stop for a meal when on your way to or from Bristol airport perhaps? Booking advised for Sunday lunches. Butcombe Original is permanent with a genuine guest beer alongside.
