Fallen Tree Micropub

This micropub, opened in February 2018 in a former shop, was originally owned by Twisted Oak Brewery but is now in private hands. Ales are served straight from casks located in the wooden stillage behind the bar which holds 10 casks. At weekends up to six of these casks can be serving beer, more likely a maximum of four at quieter times. Happy to give beer tasters. Beer usually from local breweries such as Twisted Oak, Pitchfork, 3D Beer, Yeovil Brew Co and Cheddar Ales. Pub is located in the upmarket Hill Road, close to the Grade I listed pier and with plenty of eateries nearby. Reasonably priced gins, prosecco, wines and soft drinks also on offer. No music, no fruit machines. Aims to serve quality beer and enjoy quality conversation. Opens the first Sunday lunchtime of every month.
