Stag & Hounds

Historic pub and live music venue, under new management from June 2019, situated next door to the Bristol Post building. The first floor juts out over the entrance and houses the 'Court Room' which is available for functions. At the rear upstairs there is a 19th-century iron hand water pump operated by a wheel six feet in diameter. The pub attracts a wide mix of customers and is adjacent to the Old Market bus interchange.
