Venerable & much loved free house tucked away in a lane a ten minute walk from the city centre & from Temple Meads train station. For many years one of Bristol's premier ale houses, it serves by handpull 8 beers of all styles & strengths & there are real cider as well. A generous CAMRA discount is available, & Beeriodicals are a feature, held on the first Monday to Thursday of every month, when up to 20 beers from a different county are available. There is an outdoor seating area adjacent to The Fleece music venue, a rock-oriented jukebox. Sunday afternoons feature quality live acoustic music. No food is served but you may bring in your own.
