A small partially gas lit terraced free house dating from the 1860s, serving 4 changing cask ales from local and way further afield microbreweries. An extensive selection of bottled beer is available along with a real cider. An eccentric list of pub rules include no children, 'idiot pub crawls' or inflatable bananas. The interior features terracotta colours, portholes in the floor, and many pub cats roaming free (you need to like cats!), and eclectic music from a proper record player. Board games and an extensive lego collection for the customers, and toys for the cats make the pub a fun way to spend an evening. A quiz takes place every Tuesday. The pub participates in quarterly beer festivals with nearby pubs. Due to the large feline occupancy no dogs are welcome.
