Reopend early Jan 2020 under the same management as The Golden Guinea in Redcliffe, The Steam Crane in Southville and The Rising Sun in Bedminster This independent pub has seven handpumps in total, dispensing five ales, and showcasing the full range of beer styles from top-rated British brewers, and at least two real ciders. There are also many unusual bottled beers. The L-shaped interior has scrubbed wooden tables and mixed seating, plus a covered heated rear patio featuring an impressive mural by artist Silent Hobo. A small range of quality bar food is served. Local CAMRA Pub of the Year 2012. Quiz on Wednesdays, magic show 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, live Irish music Monday evenings and movies on the 1st Sunday of every month. Beer festivals are held every few months in collaboration with other nearby pubs.
