Reopened under new management on 1 September 2020, this comfortable friendly local was refurbished in 2016. There is a bar area to the left of the central bar and a snug at the rear. To the right of the bar is a light airy restaurant area. Meals are served from Wednesday to Saturday, including tapas on Friday, and a Sunday lunch carvery, for which booking is strongly advised. There is a pleasant rear garden as well as bench seating at the front of the pub.
