Lovely old pub - first licensed in 1672 - which has survived endless redevelopment all around it. The ornately decorated exterior belies a simple and welcoming bar and restaurant inside. A popular stop for users of the bus station, and for shoppers from Broadmead. Refurbished in 2010.
