Bought by St Austell Brewery in January 2019, this riverside, modernised, spacious, comfortable, multi-levelled, and historic pub is able to accommodate sizeable groups and can hold functions. Built as a country residence in the 18th century, it has a garden with ample picnic benches and six timber customer hospitality shelters overlooking the river. Good food served. Regular events include fortnightly live band, and acoustic Sunday. The Pub can close at 10.00 pm on Mon & Tues if there are no customers.
