Rights of Man

Opening hours

The Rights of Man is named in honour of the seminal work written by Lewes resident Thomas Paine. We are an ale house and kitchen in the heart of the Sussex county town Of Lewes.

The pub boasts two areas of completely different styles. The front bar consists of cosy traditional booths and wooden panelling, with six well-kept Harvey’s ales and a fine selection of wines ranging from house wines sold by the glass and carafe, to some great examples of Bordeaux and Burgundy greats. We also specialises in Gin; a staggering 40 gins are on offer from around the world.
