The Grand Victorian Hotel is conveniently located opposite Worthing railway Station. This large renovated Victorian Hotel opened in 1898 and was called the Railway. It has since been called the Central Hotel, and later Chapmans Hotel. It is where the local branch of CAMRA was formed in 1988. It has etched window glass and stained glass lamp shades. There are large central pillars and a sunken level in the main bar. A conservatory is to one side. At the back is a patio. A nightclub is attached to the side. Guest ales are supplied from the Alehouse & Kitchen.
