Situated a mile outside Bury town centre it has an impressive red brick exterior with an equally impressive decor. Four real ales of excellent quality are on offer, two regular beers plus two ever changing beers from the Thwaites 1807 cask club range with cask mark accreditation. Thursday is quiz night with live entertainment every Friday and the last Saturday in the month. The pub was refurbished in Autumn 2017. Reopened 4/7/2020
