A busy, well run and very comfortable pub in the Town Centre that was completely refurbished in late 2013. The pub is owned by Greene King so sells their cask beers. The management will consider customer choices in future e.g. real ale of the month, as well as some form of discounted beer sales. Good value food is served daily. Situated opposite to the Bus /Tram Interchange. Reopened by June 2021
