This large town centre pub has been refurbished (Aug 2013). It is a popular pub with a varied clientele and remains famous as a great night time and weekday venue, with a good atmosphere. It does get very busy at certain times so if you want a quiet drink then choose your times logically! Food is available at reasonable prices. Refurbished, reopened, rebranded The Bank November 2019 No Real Ale on, although shown on their Web Site Home Page. Reopened 4/7/2020
