Large food orientated pub with the recently introduced carvery as well as the normal menu. A Wacky Warehouse at the back is great for the kids (a charge is made). Car park is via the main road from Horwich or along the side road after the roundabout. Close to University of Bolton Stadium and Middlebrook Retail Park, it shares a car park with Premier Inn which is located to the rear. Reopened after flooding, the four handpumps remain on the bar but the pumpclips for Abbot and IPA were turned round on a Friday evening, so may not be available.
