Initial cask beer offering was Sharp's Doom Bar, Hop Back Crop Circle, Dorset Durdle Dor and Dorset Knob (Dorset brewey is also known as DBC or Jurassic).
The pub was built in the 1800s and named in honour of Queen Victoria; subsequent extensions have doubled its size. Inside there are oak beams, wooden floors, bare-brick walls, open fires and standard lamps. Sturdy wooden tables and chairs are well spaced around the large room, which also has a number of small side areas ideal for quiet dining and drinking. The extensive menu includes Sunday roasts. Outside is a riverside beer garden with decking and a large children's play area.
