Woolpack Inn

The Woolpack was built in the mid-18th century, and was a favourite haunt of those stationed at RAF Sopley, a nearby radar station closed in 1974. This lovely, thatched pub lies between the Ringwood - Christchurch road and a spur of the river Avon. There are two bars, both low-beamed (take care!), carpeted and with exposed brickwork, and a large conservatory. The riverside garden is reached via a little footbridge. Food is served all day at weekends. Monday night is quiz night.
