Owls Nest

Charming and welcoming, this Tudor-style building with beamed ceilings and a woodburner provides a comfortable vibe. Decorated with numerous adornments, owls feature heavily among miniatures, jugs and plates. Four handpumps dispense well-chosen local and regional ales. A beer and home-made pie festival has become an early in the year favourite. There is occasional live music with an Irish session on the first Thursday of the month. Popular for its excellent home made food, booking is recommended for diners. Closed Sunday evenings from January to March.
