This historic 16th century Grade II listed hotel, owned by the National Trust, retains many of its original features including a front drinkers bar. The restaurant to the rear serves excellent home-cooked food. A large picturesque garden overlooks Swanage Steam Railway and Corfe Castle station and enjoys fantastic views of the Purbeck hills. Regular beers come from Palmers, as well as beers recreated by the Dead Brewers Society brewed by Barnet are available. Occasional beer festivals are held in the summer.
