This award winning, traditional thatched inn has its roots in the 1500's and survived the great fire of 1762. The flagstone-floored public bar is adorned with interesting artifacts including old armament shell casings. There is a dedicated dining area with an excellent range of home-cooked food on offer, a drinking corridor and a large garden to the rear with a covered area for smokers. The five ever-changing guest beers are usually from the West Country. Live music often features at weekends.
