Plough Inn

Reopened after an extensive refurbishment at the end of November 2021. 18th century coaching inn with striking half-timbered frontage, unusual for the area, about 1 mile off the Ribble Way footpath. The brightly decorated main bar area has a mainly tiled floor and a traditional range in an imposing fireplace. There is a separate small room beyond the bar with darts board and TV and a much larger dining area to the right of the main entrance with a large multi-fuel stove which blasts out heat in winter. The large conservatory at the back also caters for diners, and can be hired for functions. The Plough closes for about a month after New Year - check social media or ring for exact dates.
