Large country pub and hotel complex, with a reputation for its food. The entrance (mind the nesting swallows in spring) leads into the main bar area. Beyond a dividing wall at the far end of the bar is a smaller drinking area with settees and comfy chairs and a separate room which can be booked for private dining. To the left is the restaurant. Reservations are advisable if you wish to dine at weekends, especially if you are a group. Family and business events can be catered for - check the pub website.
