Turkey Inn

Friendly historic pub in a tiny hamlet approached by steep roads or riverside footpath. It has three snugs each with a real fire to keep out the winter chill and is a good base to explore the surrounding countryside. Purchased by new owners in the later part of 2020, the pub has been extensively refurbished throughout, and extra seating has been provided across the road in two areas adjoining the car park. The Turkey has a pool table, holds a quiz night, and hosts occasional live music and special theme nights. Food is available every day. Up to four guest beers are usually available, all on hand-pulls. Local Pub of the Season Winter 2014/5. The irregular K14/K16 bus stops at the door. The hourly Keighley Jets K1 service (day-time only) terminates in Laycock, less than 10 minutes walk away up a very steep hill.
