An historic inn situated in a Dales village between Keighley and Skipton with mullioned windows and low beamed ceilings. There is a cosy bar area to the right of the entrance, warmed by a large stove in a huge stone fireplace and with pot plants and china animals and on the shelves and windowsills. The left-hand side of the open plan interior is more functional. The 'Archives' room has a pool table and television. Always busy, the New Inn is a real local community pub. Although just a short walk from Cononley railway station, if catching a train south allow time to cross the level crossing as the barriers often come down early! Quiz night Tuesdays. Post Office day is 10am to 2pm on Thursdays.
