RE-OPENED ON 12 APRIL 2021. OPENING HOURS TO BE CONFIRMED. BOOKING DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE NECESSARY.
The oldest pub in Baildon these premises can be easily found adjacent to the roundabout in the centre of the town. It is also close to the "Malt Shovel", a fellow Green King pub, but has a different atmosphere and ethos. The interior is open-plan on split levels with dining areas to either side of a central bar and raised separate drinking area to the rear. A raised decked seating area is located outside and there are additional tables and chairs around the perimeter of the building. Four hand-pulls (2 regular and 2 guests usually from Greene King), it is planned to install a further two hand-pulls for additional guest beers. Sample jars and tasting notes are displayed to give information about the beers for sale. Meal deals are available and Sunday lunch is served.
