RE-OPENED ON 12 APRIL 2021. OPENING TIMES AND BOOKING REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONFIRMED. Located on a residential street off the main road, this large pub has an unlikely position that reflects the more historic nature of the area. It was refurbished in 2013 and the main focus is the large open-plan room that contains the bar. Up to 4 real-ales are available from the hand-pulls. The seating areas off the main room to either side of the bar provide a quieter, more intimate atmosphere. The conservatory is primarily used for dining and there is a large beer garden that can also be hired for private functions. A quiz is held on Wednesdays.
