Potting Shed

Formerly the Fleece, this establishment underwent an extensive refurbishment and re-opened as the Potting Shed in March 2015. It comprises a large, open-plan ground floor room with a bar and kitchen to one side. A number of historic features in the building have been restored as part of the refurbishment and upcycled materials have been used elsewhere. The house real ale is produced by the nearby Stod Fold brewery and another three hand-pumps serve a varying range of real ales, usually from regional breweries. The food is prepared to order from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. A patio area with seating is located to the rear and additional seating is provided within sheds in the pub garden. The upstairs games room contains pool tables and a darts board. The pub can get very busy at weekends especially on a Friday and Saturday evening when there is a DJ and live acoustic music.
