REMAINED CLOSED AFTER 4th JULY 2020 - RE-OPENING DATE IN 2021 TO BE CONFIRMED. Known locally as "The Old Fire Station", this building became a modern bar-style pub in 2002 and opened as the Suburban Bar. It has since become the Firepit smokehouse & sports bar. the venue is largely open-plan with smaller rooms to one side, an upper mezzanine and an upstairs dining room. There is decking and seating outside including a smoking area. Food deals are offered every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. There is a happy hour from 4pm to 8pm Monday to Friday and this is extended to cover all night on Thursday. The venue can get busy on weekend nights and is popular at other times. Private parties can be booked.
