Chapter 2 Coffee Lounge & Bar

Opened in November 2019, this single-room, open-plan establishment has a relaxed, modern feel. The friendly staff make everyone feel welcome. As well as being a coffee lounge, a range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails are also available. The single hand-pull dispenses a house blonde real ale that is supplied by Bingley Brewery. A second guest ale has also been added. There are also six keg taps for beer. Live bands play on an occasional basis (see facebook page or ask at the bar for more details). There is a happy hour on Fridays 7-8pm when drinks are available at reduced prices. The lockdown due to the Covid-19 crisis has given opportunity to prepare the upstairs room for use. This will give more room for people to socially distance and, when circumstances allow, it is intended to use it for functions and other events. The current establishment is under completely new ownership by local people and has nothing to do with the previous nightclub.
