Black Lane Ends

Called the Hare and Hounds until recently but changed name due to there being pubs of the same name in the two nearest local villages. Lies on the old road from Colne to Skipton close to the border with North Yorkshire overlooking the Pennine Moors. An independent free house with an excellent reputation for food, which is served daily from 12-9pm in the two rooms either side of the bar. There is no nearby public transport. Not far from the Pendle Way footpath.
