Multi award winning continental style bar for both beer and cider in the centre of Darwen, the current East Lancs CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2019. 4 hand pumps from the Hopstar range, which usually includes a dark beer and occasional guest beer, alongside Endurance which is brewed exclusively for the bar. New brews are tried out here first but never last long due to popular demand so don’t hesitate to get down when one is on. 3 ciders or perry always available and each and every Sunday afternoon it's apple and cheese time. There is a large variety of bottled continental and world beers and draught Timmermans and 4 newly installed craft lines. Home of Darwen Music Projects, there is live music on every Thursday night from 9pm and most weekends, admission is normally free but bar may close early due to ticketed events.
