Royal Oak

One of a rare breed these days - a real 'locals' pub! In a pleasant location overlooking the village green and despite some doubt over its future things appear more secure. On entry to the right the small but lively public bar is warm in winter with a roaring fire and juke box. It has a well used skittle alley leading off. From the main entrance the left door leads to the quieter lounge bar restaurant where Sunday carvery is also available.
