Cross Keys Inn

This rural gem has a large open fire and a warm welcoming atmosphere. It is in the shadow of Cley Hill, (famed for its UFO sightings). A good selection of guest ales, mainly sourced from local breweries, is available, along with excellent bar food and restaurant meals. It is in an excellent walking area, only metres from the Somerset border, and close to Longleat House and its Safari park. In 2016, after it looked like having an uncertain future, the pub was taken over by a village consortium, and is now thriving.
