ACCREDITED FOR BEER QUALITY 2019/2020. Large open-plan town centre pub with raised seating area and booths, with 6-10 cask ales. Local histories of Redditch’s manufacturing industries and its involvement in the gunpowder plot adorn the walls, and a large metal horse and rider stands in the centre. Very busy at lunchtimes and at weekends, with a steady flow throughout the day till closing time. Outside, a glass canopy and café-style seating makes for great people watching and a smoking area. Two Tvs at each end of the pub are usually dedicated to news or sports. Real cider always available on handpull.
