17th Century pub allegedly frequented by the ghost of the popular singer/songwriter Nick Drake. There is an annual gathering to celebrate Nick's life and his music held in the village every July. Another famous local and pub regular is Tim Watts of Pertemps fame. The pub is at the heart of village life; it houses the village post office and convenience store.
