Griffin Inn

A renowned real ale venue with more than 25 consecutive years in this Guide. Its interior features a stone bar, inglenook fireplaces and beams decorated with old beer mats. No music is played. The pub serves up to eight guest beers, usually including Freestyle ales from the adjacent brewery. There is always one real cider, and up to four in summer. Children are welcome on the beer terrace and in the conservatory and meadow-style garden. Home-cooked lunches are served (no food Sun).
