Pear Tree

An excellent Wetherspoons outlet run by an enthusiastic manager who is a keen CAMRA member. The guest beers are highly driven by the Locale policy where many local beers feature. At least 4-6 guest ales are available, including a selection of real ciders/perries. The building is a former bank and very accessible by local transport. In winter months a large gas fire in the middle of the pub gives an open fire impression. Food is the standard Wetherspoons fayre. Wetherspoon have announced that the Pear Tree will close when the lease expires.
