Welcoming historic country pub just along from the picturesque village green. Whilst offering an interesting menu of hearty home made pub food, using locally sourced ingredients, the pub is keen to underscore its community pub credentials. Darts and pool are available. A friendly welcome is offered to both villagers and occasional visitors including ramblers and cyclists - there are pleasant outside drinking areas and there are plans to develop the adjacent barn. Thursday is quiz night and there are regular curry and pie nights.
