Seventeenth century inn with oak beams, an inglenook fireplace and several areas for drinking or dining. There is a large car park to the rear and a garden where barbecues take place and also hosts a popular summer beer festival. The pub was re-opened in September 2010 following major renovation work, and has been tastefully modernised, augmenting the pub's traditional features with the newer additional seating and dining areas.
