This fine building is one of the oldest in historic Banff, dating back to 1585. It is worth stepping out the back for a look at the courtyard, which retains many original features. The long public bar has several fine samples of historic brewery and distillery mirrors. One beer available on one of the two handpumps serves an ever changing range of beers. Two beers on at weekends and holidays. An impressive looking lounge is also open upstairs, primarily for meals. Banff tourist hub stance is around corner.
