Newton Arms

Traditional village local with a classic dark-wood panelled public bar to the front featuring bar counters from the 1950s with intriguing under counter shelves to accommodate your drinks. Also featured is an original Wm. Black's Devanha brewery mirror by J. Stewart & Co, Glasgow. The lounge room at the side is light wood-panelled and is laid out with an array of tables and you can take your own food from the Newtonhill Tandoori next door to dine in. Plates and cutlery are provided on request. A small east facing patio at the rear for alfresco drinking and whilst the neighbouring buildings might spoil the sea view they might just protect you from the onshore winds. Up to two beers available in the public bar only, but usually only one at any time.
