This former coaching house is a rambling building in attractive open countryside. Family-run Inn has a traditional, wood-paneled bar warmed by a large log fire in winter, and a lounge with a centrally located open fireplace and a large conservatory area, popular for dining. May close early, particularly in winter. Phone ahead to check opening hours. Coffee, tea, scones and shortbread available 2pm - 5pm daily Two separate function room are available. Ostlers, in a separate annex, set out on two levels, and the smaller Crynoch suite which comes with a galleried area The guest beer is often sourced from Scottish breweries, such as Strathbraan, Windswept and Burnside. Convenient for the attractions of Stonehaven and Royal Deeside. Short term rental accommodation, a separate business, is located next door.
