Alexandra Hotel

Originally built as a private home in 1800 and becoming the Alexandra Hotel in 1915, this smart, friendly and family owned lounge bar, is popular with locals for bar suppers and regular bar drinkers also. Beer garden to rear of hotel for alfresco drinking. Ales exclusively supplied from Cairngorm and always in excellent condition. Three in summer, but generally just two in winter. Handy for a stop off on your way to Braemar for the Highland Games or for a visit with the Royals at Balmoral.
