In the shadow of the Victoria Commemorative Arch, erected in recognition of the Queen's first trip to the North East of Scotland when she spent the night in the hotel, its Victorian heritage lends itself to the cuisine in the open, modern lounge. Close to Fasque Estate, residence of Sir William Gladstone, and near to the visitor centre at the Fettercairn distillery. May close at 10pm in winter if few customers.
