After closure for well over a year due to Covid restrictions, the pub has undergone a major re-furbishment, costing a reported £200,00.00, and reopened on Friday 5th November 2021 by the local McGintys pub group and selling initially 2 x Timothy Taylor beers. It is proposed to perhaps add one or two local beers to the range in time. Food consists of sharing platters and cocktails also feature. Located in a quiet side street near Golden Square just minutes off Union Street, this popular pub is located in a basement next to Milne's auction house - hence the name.
